Welcome to Stanbridge Pre-school
Stanbridge Pre-school aims to offer a happy, safe and caring environment for all the children to develop their learning potential through play and planned activities, in preparation for school, as well as learning to socialise and have fun with other children and adults.
Stanbridge Pre-school was established in 1982, initially starting out in a spare classroom. We moved to the Elliott building in 1998, at the back of the Stanbridge Primary School. We now have this purpose built building which we moved into in February 2006. Stanbridge Pre-school is totally dependent from Stanbridge Primary School, but we do have good links with the governors, head teacher and teaching staff. The majority of our staff are trained to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and staff regularly update their First Aid and attend courses of interest throughout the year.
The Pre-school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Standards and Principles for Learning, Development and Care.
The Pre-school is a charity organisation run by a Parent Committee. The Committee play a vital role, and without them we could not operate.
